- Our 4 Rolls Synchronized Plate Bending Rolls is highly sophisticated and enhance the rolling output with a greater percentage. The rear lateral roll, which is located just opposite to the feeding side, is suitable as a back gauge allowing quick plate squaring. This leads to rapid plate alignment while reducing the labour by making it a âone man operationâ.
- Once the squaring of plates is done, it is safely clamped between the top and bottom central pinch rolls. This clamping makes the Prebending and rolling operation much safer by minimizing the risk of plate slipping. During the prebending operation, tilting the plates below feeding is not required anymore as done with conventional 3 rolls machines. To combat this operational challenge and improve efficiency, a horizontal motorized roller tables are used.
- After the completion of prebending process of the edge, a cylinder can be easily rolled as per the specified diameter. This is because machine is space-efficient as only one side of the machine has plate feeding design. While bending of the trailing is done once the cylinder is finally rolled. After cylinder rolling, trailing edge bending is done.
- Rolling of cylinder is quite complex as it has to be rolled in one pass and in one direction only, whereas rolling of cone is much easier as the side rolls are being tilted to assure the precise cone angle as well as central lower can also be tilted according to the requirement to clamp and drive the plate. Owing to the strong and effective clamping and driving of the plate in the Four Roll Machine, this type of rolling technology is highly compatible with NC and CNC Systems.
